The process of maintaining the separator device

1. Maintenance of oil level sensor

The oil level sensor must be regularly maintained and cleaned so that it accurately sense the oil level in the separative chamber

We remove the oil level sensor from the water oil seperator and clean the entire sensor surface with a special wash oil, clean with clean rag. Then reattach the oil level sensor to the correct position

2. Maintenance of the filter

To clean the filter, remove it from the separating chamber

- First , drain all the water in the filter chamber

- Remove the filter cover to remove the filter

- Remove the filter holder

- Unplug the filter hose

- Remove the filter

- Soak the filter in chemical to remove most of the oil on the filter surface

- Clean the filter with compressed air

- Reasemble the filter on the fixed steadyrest and fasten the hose connection

- Reassemble the separator cover

3. Clean bulb of the sensor of the 15ppm monitor

In order for the monitor to always accurately sense the oil content in water through the device, bulb of the sensor must always be clean. However, during the working process, oil will get into the glass of the sensor bulb. If only wash, the glass of the sensor bulb won't be clean. That's why we have to remove it to clean the sensor

To clean the sensor bulb, first lock the sample water supply valve, then drain the sample water completely. Open the cleaning knob of the sensor bulb. Get a clean cotton cloth soaked in water to wash and clean the glass surface of the sensor bulb. Fill the sensor bulb with clean water. Set again the cleaning knob of the sensor bulb

4. Maintenance of the separator pump

In order for a separator pump to work properly, we must regularly maintain the pump clape assemblies by:

- Power-off for pump

- Remove the caps of the suction and exhaust clape to check

- Clean, re-check the contact surface of the base and the clape of the separator pump

- Check for the contact of the clape base, if good contact is okay

- Reassemble the clape assembly into the pump clape box

- Complete pump assembly
